WEST Bowling remained top of National Conference League Division Two with a comfortable 42-12 win at mid-table Beverley.

Despite going behind, Ryan Hunkin's men soon asserted their dominance to lead 22-6 at the break, and they continued to hold the upper hand in the second half.

Bowling shared the tries around, with seven different scorers as Ben Heald, Nicholas Fontaine, Max Trueman, Harry Williams, Richard Lumb, Samuel Dunn and Oliver Bartle all touched down.

Williams kicked seven goals, while Lumb claimed the man of the match award.

Victory kept Wests ahead of rivals Ince Rose Bridge on points difference. Bridge won 34-24 at home to Clock Face Miners, who Bowling visit next on August 3 following a break this weekend for the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

Drighlington enjoyed a 30-18 victory at home to Leigh East in Division Three.
