BRADFORD Dudley Hill made it two wins in a row for only the second time all season.

They beat Beverley 33-18 at home to take them within five points of top-spot in Division Two in the National Conference League.

Three of the four teams above Dudley Hill lost at the weekend, including a shock home defeat for leaders Ince Rose Bridge.

The Bradford side showed they meant business racing into a 6-0 lead on the ninth minute.

But they were pegged back when Beverley scored under the posts moments later and converted to draw level.

Jamie Brentley put things right for the hosts though, which began an onslaught of 22 unanswered points, including a Martin Southwell try.

The visitors took their tally to 18, but a late Hill try and drop-goal took the game out of sight.

In Division Three, Drighlington were unable to hold onto their lead in a mid-table clash at Oldham St Annes.

The spoils were shared between the two sides in a low-scoring 8-8 draw.

Drigh were six ahead thanks to a Ryan Burton try and Michael Sanderson conversion.

Oldham clawed their way back into the game with a penalty goal, leaving the score at 6-2 heading into the break.

The hosts then took themselves in front with a converted try.

But, a penalty kick from Sanderson evened things up.

Wyke Academy have moved second in Division Four of the Yorkshire Men's League after a comprehensive 22-12 victory at Batley Boys DMR.

The hosts were actually the ones to go ahead first, but Jamie Kerr replied after, stepping through three tacklers for the try.

It was 12-6 in favour of Wyke heading into the break and they didn't look back from there.
