WEST Bowling swept to success in a dominant performance against East Leeds.

The 48-6 victory at home saw Bowling subject their visitors to their third consecutive loss and the result was never in doubt.

East Leeds could only muster a single try, from Thomas Howson.

Jason Priestley added the extras for what would be the visitors' final points of the game.

Bowling controlled the match and on 58 minutes at 26-6 to the good, the odds were stacked even further in their favour.

East Leeds player Tom Holmes was sent to the sin-bin for an alleged dissent.

That provoked Ryan Hunkin's side to run riot, putting a further 22 points on the board.

This was a solid team effort, as it has been for much of the season for Bowling, with no less than eight different try-scorers.

Keiron Baker was the only player to get his name on the scoresheet twice, with Jay Panter, Samuel Dunn, Joe Hammond, Liam Coe, Lewis Galtress, Richard Lumb and Oliver Bartle getting a try each.

Young kicker Harry Williams, who has been a revelation this year, hit six out of nine conversions to further enhance his side's tally.

The emphatic victory solidifies Bowling's third-place position in the National League Conference Division Two table.

They move a point clear of rivals Barrow, who could only muster a draw, ahead of what on paper should be a simple trip to division strugglers Askam for Bowling.

Elsewhere, Bradford Dudley Hill's bid to get back to Division One at the first time of asking hit a snag when travelling to face Hull Dockers.

The hosts ended a three-match losing streak with a 32-16 victory in a game where Dudley Hill never really got going.

Despite the sin-binning of Charlie Richmond, the Dockers were never behind in the match.

A Dan Suddaby brace and a try each for Kyle Larvin, Chris Lyth and Jon Eccles helped them to exert that dominance.

But, it was the inspired performance of Dylan Rawlings that truly did it for Hull.

As well as bagging a try, he scored four goals to take his personal tally to 12 for the match.

Dudley Hill's efforts came courtesy of Aidan Batey with two tries and a single try for Adam Jefferson.

There were also couple of goals for Neil Wall.

The Bradford side remain in fifth and will feel they can get back to winning ways against a Shaw Cross Sharks side that have lost eight games already this season.

In the basement division, mid-table Drighlington gave leaders Hunslet Warriors a scare.

But, the Warriors just edged out their hosts late in the game to secure a vital 21-19 victory, with second-placed Dewsbury Celtic keeping the pressure on with a victory of their own.

Drigh were on cloud-nine at 18-12 with around 20 minutes to go.

Tries for Jake Dearden, Ryan Wilks and Ethan Hallas, with Michael Sanderson holding his nerve to convert all three, put the hosts in dreamland.

But, Hunslet equalised with a try and conversion as the 60th minute approached.

It was 19-19 shortly after, with drop-goals for both sides.

The Warriors then applied the killer blow when Daryl Gaunt scored a late penalty in the 78th minute.
