WEST Bowling will be looking to get back to winning ways in National Conference League Division Two following last week’s derby defeat to Dudley Hill when they welcome Cumbrian side Barrow Island on Saturday.

The league campaign in the Yorkshire Men’s League kicks off this weekend, with no less than six sides from the district in action.

In the Premier Division, Queensbury welcome Cutsyke Raiders, and in Division One Brighouse Rangers travel to Elland.

Division Two sees Keighley Albion at home to Stainland Stags and Wyke on the road against Stanningley.

Birstall Victoria make the journey to Farnley Falcons in Division Three, and in the NCL Alliance Two Drighlington are away to Dewsbury Celtic.

The Women’s Super League also gets underway this Sunday, with Bradford Bulls Ladies at home against Featherstone Rovers.

In Women’s League One, Keighley Albion make the trip across the Pennines to Rochdale Hornets.
