Queensbury travel to rivals Halifax Irish on Saturday looking for their first win of the season in the Pennine League Premier Division.

Bury lost their opening game narrowly and then came off second best last week to a well-drilled Siddal A outfit.

This week sees them with a great chance for two points against a side who have failed to post a victory in their two matches and have only managed to score 14 points. Luke Brearcliffe is is in top form for Bury and is one to watch.

In Division One West, West Bowling A have a difficult test when they entertain big rivals Wibsey Warriors at the Bankfoot Oval.

Ben Kelly steps up to first-team duty but the loss of experienced centre Martin Tordoff through injury is a blow.

Birkenshaw make the trip to Illingworth, looking to put last week's derby defeat by Clayton behind them.

Coach Jason Hirst has brought in a number of players, including experienced forward Simon Owen, and he will be confident of victory against an Illingworth side looking for their first win.

In Division Two, Wyke will look to put pressure on the top two by beating Morley Borough.

Morley come to the Recreation Ground with a similar points tally, and Wyke will need the cool head of Craig Hillam to secure a vital victory.

Bank Top Harriers welcome Stanningley A as they go in search of their first win.
