In the Pennine League Premier Division, Queensbury went down at home to Siddal A 36-10.

In Division One, Wibsey celebrated a fine 42-12 victory over Emley Moor.

Wibsey had a scare early on when they went 12-0 down but star full back Mike Derrick saved the day with a superb hat-trick.

Prop Chris Vogel also got in on the act with a couple of tries while Steve Redman, Neil Sutcliffe and man of the match Brad Tattersall also posted tries. Andy Robinson kicked ten goals.

In Division Two, Wyke suffered defeat at the hands of West Leeds, 20-14.

Wyke went in at the break with a two-point advantage but were unable to hold on, despite a last-minute effort from Sam Kitson.

Craig Hillam was on hand to pick up a couple of conversions in what was a scrappy affair, with four sin-binnings and one red card.

Bank Top Harriers picked up their first point of the season with a well-earned 12-12 draw against Dodworth while Queensbury A missed out on the chance to go top of Division Five when they were beaten 30-10 at Hollinwood.

Ash Ryan and Marc Driver crossed for Bury while Joe Renard added a conversion.
