Giant-killers Odsal Sedbergh are just one game away from a trip across the road to the Grattan Stadium for the JACK SENIOR MEMORIAL BRADFORD CUP final after a 12-6 home success against Bank Top Harriers.

Sedge scored early with a converted try from Jonny Ward but the Harriers levelled matters in the second half when centre Jason Gelder crossed.

The tie was finally decided when Robert Priestley forced his way over at the flag with five minutes to go and Adam Moffatt added the touchline conversion.

Queensbury progressed to the semi-finals with a 44-10 home win against Dudley Hill A.

Bury half-back Joe Swain posted a fine try and was outstanding throughout, while James Stewart (2), Callum Murgatroyd, Gareth Crowther, Gregg Marriot and Scott Swann also made the whitewash.

Both Birkenshaw and Clayton coasted through to the last four with identical 54-0 scorelines.

Birky led Wyke a merry dance at East Bierley with ten tries from Ben Nabozny (2), Beniot Rogers (2), Dean Scriven, Andy Seager, Matt Honeysett, Mick Appleyard, Richard Rhodes and Graham Trueman, with his first touch of the ball.

Clayton also made comfortable passage against Victoria Rangers at Lidget Green. James Flanagan and Christian Wooler both bagged a brace, on top of tries from Eddie Harney, Paul Crossley, Phil Redgrave, Dean Bairstow, Jim Waddington and John Fawcett, The draw for the semi-finals will be made tomorrow night during the Bradford ARL meeting at Wibsey Rugby Club.

Wibsey Warriors began the new year with a hard-fought 26-18 PENNINE LEAGUE victory at Wortley Dragons in Division Two.

Mike Derrick bagged a couple of tries, with Steve Redman, Dave Coates and man of the match Nathan Anderson also finding the chalk and Andy Robinson adding three goals.

Wibsey’s second string took a step closer to retaining the HUDSON FOSTER SUPPLEMENTARY BRADFORD CUP with a comfortable 42-14 victory over Wyke A.
