IN THE latest edition of our new weekly look back through the T&A picture archives, here are three rugby league teams from years gone by.

Do you remember any of the players?

DELPH HILL 1979: No names

DUDLEY HILL U13 1986: Back (from left) Philip Greenwood, Craig Smith, Richard Tiffany, Neil Walsh, Kenny Atkins, coach, David Keenan, Mitch Clarke, Mark Leigh, Simon Bould and Paul Baxter.

Front (from left) Craig Wilcocks, Stuart Tighe, Andy Hirst, David Turpin captain, Adrian Thomas, Stephen Fowler, Robert Smith and Raymond Greenwood.

CLAYTON U17 1965: No names

The picture of Delph Hill Amateur Rugby League Club appeared in the T&A on December 8 1979 in which we reported they were the only local club at the time with a woman at the helm.

Their president was Miss Beatrice Porritt, who was the director of M. I. Engineering. They had perhaps another unique point in that their ground was some four miles from their headquarters, the New Inn, Wyke, and all matches were virtually away from home!

Let us you know your comments or email your memories to bradford-sport@telegraphandargus.co.uk and check out these photographs in print in tomorrow's T&A.

The pictures will also be available to purchase in our photo sales section at telegraphandargus.co.uk/videoandpictures/photosales/
