CAMPION head to Nostell Miners Welfare tomorrow in upbeat mood despite still searching for their first victory of the new season.
That's after they snatched a 90th minute equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Brigg Town in midweek.
It was the second late leveller of the season after the Bradford side also snatched a last-gasp point in their opening Northern Counties East League Division One clash at Harrogate Railway.
After Andrew McCreadie struck in the 90th minute to earn a 1-1 draw at Railway, Campion showed more resilience to come back from a 2-0 deficit at home to Brigg.
Jake Reed had put the visitors 2-0 up inside 14 minutes but the red and blacks hit back after the break through Adam Shaw and, at the death, Omar Habeeb.
In the NCEL Premier Division, Thackley are also looking for their first win after an opening 3-3 draw with Bridlington as they host free-scoring Goole.
The former Northern Premier League outfit have started the season well, having scored nine goals in two victories without reply - a 6-0 hammering of Athersley and a 3-0 win at Hall Road Rangers in the FA Cup.
Buoyed by their FA Cup win over Bootle, Eccleshill are aiming to kick-start their league campaign at Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
The Eagles have been boosted by the addition of leftback Mo Kabba from Yorkshire Amateur, who is confident United can challenge at the top.
He said: "We can battle for the top three. We have got some really good players in the squad and I expect some really good things at the end of the season."
