CAMPION head to Rossington Main on Saturday having rediscovered that winning feeling thanks to a 3-1 victory at home to Shirebrook Town last night.
The Bradford side's last Northern Counties East League Division One success had been a month ago but they got their title charge back on track thanks to an impressive first half show.
Campion had suffered two defeats since mid-February and been frustrated by the weather but three goals before half-time put them on their way to a comfortable win.
Graham Hall gave his side the lead after just five minutes with a bullet header before Marcus Day made it two with a cool finish.
And Campion had the points in the bag when a great ball by Robbie Graham was headed in by Aiden Day on the stroke of half-time.
Marcus Day hit the post after the break and, though Town pulled one back, the second-placed hosts cruised home to close the gap on leaders Grimsby Borough to six points - with Campion having three games in hand.
