Campion are wobbling at the worst possible time, with the finishing line in sight.
They would have moved back into the Northern Counties East League Premier Division play-offs with a home win over second-bottom Rossington Main on Wednesday night.
But despite going in front twice at Scotchman Road, the Bradford side could only manage a 2-2 draw.
With only three league games left, they are now two points off the play-off spots, and their fate is out of their hands.
That did not look like being the case when Ben Grech-Brooksbank put them ahead after just 11 minutes, glancing the ball home from Ewan Gregson’s cross.
Oliver Novak quickly equalised for Rossington but back came Campion to retake the lead shortly before half-time through a Shay Muirhead header.
The Bradford side were not at the races in the second half, with Rossington equalising on 54 minutes through a Cody Prior penalty.
Luke Wilson made several good saves to stop the visitors from finding a winner, as Campion clung on for a point even after Matty Nebard’s late red card for two bookable offences.

Eccleshill United are not quite safe yet, after their 2-0 defeat at Pickering Town on Tuesday night, but Rossington’s draw means the Bradford side stay seven points above the relegation zone.
In Division One of the NCEL, Route One Rovers are closing in on the play-offs, as they keep winning their games in hand.
They edged a thriller 3-2 against Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on Wednesday night at Myra Shay.
Reece Thompson scored twice for the hosts, before Zak Khan struck what turned out to be Rovers’ winner on the hour mark.
Silsden inched a point closer to safety in the Northern Premier League East Division with a goalless draw at home to Grimsby Borough in midweek.
Conversely, Brighouse Town have slumped to the foot of the division after losing 3-1 at Blyth Town on Tuesday night.
Rhys Plater opened the scoring for Brig, but Blyth hit back to win and lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
