FORMER Bradford (Park Avenue) and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has taken his first steps on the managerial ladder after being appointed as part of Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Goole AFC’s new coaching team.
In joining Goole, Kenny, who will team up with Nathan Helliwell in the dugout, will face off with a number of local sides this season including Campion, Silsden, Thackley, Albion Sports and Eccleshill United.
The duo’s first game in charge was meant to be a trip to Eccleshill today, but instead they welcome The Eagles to their place due to the weather.
The game will still commence at 3pm.
