IT’S the return of FA Vase this weekend and a number of Bradford teams will be pushing to make it through the first round of qualifying.
The fixtures will take place over the course of the latest Bank Holiday, and Campion got the ties underway at Whickham yesterday evening (score to follow).
In the NCEL, Thackley get their FA Vase journey started away at Heaton Stannington today, at 3pm, the same time that all the other fixtures will kick off today.
Elsewhere, Silsden host Newcastle Blue Star and on Sunday, Albion Sports host Billingham Town at 3pm.
In the NWCFL, Steeton have a trip to Boldon CA in the first round of FA Vase qualifying today, while the inform Route One Rovers get their first ever taste of non-league knockout football at Kendal Town this afternoon.
Barnoldswick Town host Billingham Synthonia.
Ilkley Town don’t have FA Vase action this weekend and instead continue with league football, as they host Runcorn Town in the NWCFL First Division North.
In the Northern Premier League today at 3pm, Bradford (Park Avenue) host Ilkeston Town, Guiseley travel to Lancaster City, Liversedge are Bridlington Town and Brighouse host Grantham Town.
