ECCLESHILL United fell to a consecutive NCEL defeat last night as Emley took all home all three points with a convincing 2-0 victory.
Two first half strikes from James Walshaw and Jack Cowgill was enough to seal the victory for the visitors, as Eccleshill’s no11 was shown a red card with the clock ticking down.
The defeat means United have picked up three points in as many games, leaving them 13th in the early season Premier Division standings.
Eccleshill return to action on Saturday when they travel to Penistone Church for a 3pm kick-off.
