PRE-SEASON got underway for a handful of our non-league teams on Saturday, with Campion starting their preparation for a first season at Step Five with a 3-1 win at Steeton.
The Red and Blacks netted twice in the first 15 minutes, before adding a third just after the break.
The best goal was saved until last though.
With the Campion goalkeeper off his line after scuffing a clearance, Toby Jeffrey lofted the ball into the net from just inside his own half.
Not sure if pre season goals count for goal of the season otherwise Toby Jeffrey would have had it wrapped up with this strike from his own half yesterday for @Steetonfc pic.twitter.com/vcWhKjkUaf

Elsewhere, Albion Sports romped to a 5-1 win at amateur side Swillington Saints, while Thackley drew an impressive crowd of 831 to Dennyfield.
There was plenty of excitement in the air down at the BD10 ground, with newly-reformed Bury the visitors.
The historic side proved too strong for their Bradford hosts, winning their first game back 3-0.
It was a double-header, and Thackley’s women gained some sense of revenge, beating their Bury counterparts 2-0.
Finally, Brighouse Town and Farsley Celtic played out a 1-1 draw, in what was a first game in charge of the latter for former Bantams striker Clayton Donaldson.
