ECCLESHILL United advanced into the second qualifying round of the FA Vase in style over the weekend, as they destroyed Willington 9-1.

Devonte Newman-Morton and Takuo Jitsukawa both scored hat-tricks as Ryan Toulson's side went goal-crazy in Bradford on Saturday.

Daniel Lowe put the Eagles in front, before the two hat-trick scorers grabbed the first of their trebles.

Jitsukawa's second and a Kelvin Bleau goal put the Eagles 5-0 up at the break, before Ben Bodle made it six on the hour mark.

Two goals in five minutes from Newman-Morton saw him complete his treble, before beleaguered Willington finally got on the scoresheet through Wayne Preston.

But Jitsukawa had the final say, making it 9-1 after 83 minutes.

Silsden also won big at home, crushing Garstang 5-0.

Lamin Janneh hit a 55-minute hat-trick, and his treble was added to late on by goals from Alexander Stewart and Arale Mohamed.

Thackley were the third side with a BD postcode to progress into the next round of the FA Vase with a home win.

They beat Boldon CA 2-0, with a goal in each half from Ryan Basi and Tom Greaves.

Meanwhile, Campion are up to third in Division One of the Northern Counties East League.

They went behind early on at Harrogate Railway Athletic to a Luke Stewart effort, but hit back to win 3-1, scoring three times in 15 minutes either side of the break, courtesy of a Marcus Day brace and a goal from Patrick Sykes.

In the Northern Premier League Premier Division on Saturday, Liversedge lost 2-0 at Radcliffe, while Guiseley drew 0-0 on the road against Stalybridge Celtic.

In the NPL East Division, Brighouse Town won a thriller 5-3 at Grimsby Borough.

All three were in action again this afternoon, with Brig scoring three late goals to down Tadcaster Albion 3-0.

Sedge and Guiseley both lost 1-0 at home, to Stalybridge and Bamber Bridge respectively.

Steeton didn't play on Saturday, but lost 3-1 to AFC Blackpool today in the North West Counties League First Division North.

Farsley Celtic played twice over the Bank Holiday in National League North, drawing 1-1 at home to Curzon Ashton on Saturday, before losing 1-0 at Darlington this afternoon.
