LIVERSEDGE have linked up with Pro Elite Academy, as they look to bring through the next generation of footballers.

Pro Elite will be working with Sedge's Under-23s, offering training under UEFA A and B licensed coaches.

The team, who play in the West Riding County FA's U23s Premier League, will be seeking that pathway to semi-pro (or professional), first-team football, with their chances more likely to increase with Pro Elite's guidance.

The youngsters will also benefit from analysis and technical support from the Pro Elite team.

Liversedge's first team manager Jonathan Rimmington is delighted with the new partnership, saying: "We're delighted to be working with Pro Elite, who are leading the way in developing players and coaches through various satellite venues across West Yorkshire.

"Partnering up with them was a no-brainer to be honest.

"Pav (Singh) has been working hard in his new role as head of coaching, and has built some excellent relationships, which will fill the gaps within our player pathway to the first team.

"The Under-23s squad is really exciting and I am looking forward to players transitioning into the first team."
