BRIGHOUSE Town Women will have a representative at this summer's Women's Euros.

Their goalkeeper, Becky Flaherty, has been named in the Northern Ireland squad for the tournament, alongside fellow stoppers Jackie Burns and Shannon Turner.

The tournament kicks off next Wednesday, with England facing Austria at Old Trafford.

Northern Ireland are also in the hosts' group, and they take on Norway at St Mary's the following night.

Northern Ireland face Austria on July 11, before concluding the group stage against rivals England on July 15.

All three of their games will take place at Southampton's stadium.

Flaherty, who initially turned out for Scotland's youth sides, has a handful of caps for the Northern Ireland senior team, and was their man of the match in a 6-0 defeat to England last year.

However, Burns is expected to be between the sticks as first-choice goalkeeper for the tournament.
