IT HAS been a busy weekend for our non-league clubs once again, with Thackley and Liversedge both making an eye-catching double signing.

The Dennyboys had already snapped up former Bradford (Park Avenue) man Tom Greaves as well as enterprising winger Aidan Chippendale, but now they have also brought in Kieran Suddards and Declan Parker.

Suddards makes the short trip across from another Bradford team in Albion Sports, with the midfielder set to go up against his old side in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Parker is another midfielder, and he has had a solid non-league career at Bridlington Town, Hemsworth Miners Welfare and Handsworth.

Liversedge meanwhile have snapped up one of Eccleshill United's best players in wide man Sumaili Cissa.

Cissa, who used to play in Bradford City's academy, was instrumental as the Eagles just missed out on promotion last season.

Experienced centre-back Barrett has dropped down a division to sign for Sedge, having previously been at Scarborough Athletic.

He is a Leeds United youth product too, and it is clear that Sedge are taking their attempts to reach National League North for 2023/24 seriously.

Mo Qasim, like Suddards, has left Albion, and he will be joining former Eccleshill man Sam Bradley at Yorkshire Amateur.

Josh Grant has left Brighouse Town to return to Tadcaster Albion, while Andy Hollins has rejected Guiseley's new contract offer to sign for Marine.
