SEMI-PROFESSIONAL football returns this weekend across the country and Campion face a tough challenge at home to Pilkington.

The Bradford side are on the up following a difficult start to the campaign, and now find themselves fourth in the form standings.

However, they face no easy task in coming up against Pilkington, a side who play an expansive and attractive brand of football and are currently fourth in the table.

Campion are unbeaten in their last two fixtures, most recently drawing 3-3 away at Ashton Town.

Elsewhere,Thackley host Barton Town.

They will be going into the game with confidence having beaten Armthorpe Welfare in the cup on Wednesday.

It will be a good chance for the Bradford side to gain some momentum as they face a side five places beneath them in 14th.

As for Liversedge, they travel to Frickley. They will be boosted by the arrival of new man Lewis Whitham.

The young forward arrives from Stocksbridge PSFC where he has spent the majority of his football career aside from a spell in the juniors at Sheffield United.

Brighouse travel to Cleethorpes Town, having had a week off from league action.

Town last played on Saturday 23 when they drew 1-1 with Worksop Town at home.

Eccleshill face a different competition this weekend as they host Barton Town Old Boys in the second round of the FA Vase competition.

They beat Heaton Stannington 5-2 in round one away from home to progress to this tie.

Albion Sports progressed through to the next round of the NCEL league Cup on Tuesday evening, beating Clipstone 3-0 away from home.

And they return to action this weekend as they travel to Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Silsden host Maltby Main, Steeton travel to Daisy Hill, Guiseley travel to Wimbledon in the first round of the FA Cup and Ilkley Town don't feature in this week's fixture list.
