ECCLESHILL United are up to fifth in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, with the Eagles soaring to a 3-1 win at Barton Town.

Talent Ndlovu, who hit a hat-trick last midweek, continued his sparkling form with the opener on 37 minutes to put the visitors in front.

Barton equalised early in the second half through Luke Hemingway, and with 20 minutes to go it was anyone's game.

But Eccleshill struck two decisive blows in the space of 60 seconds to seal victory, with Jonny Irving and Sumaili Cissa the two men on target.

Albion Sports also continue to impress, and they moved into the top half with a 1-0 win at Maltby Main courtesy of Jaydan Sandhu's first half effort.

Thackley have been up and down in the league, and Saturday's game was a real low point, as they were hammered 4-0 at Penistone Church.

Nathan Keightley, Luke Stewart and Thomas Brennan put the hosts three up after half an hour, with Stewart adding a fourth just after the break.

Silsden were hammered 3-0 at home to runaway leaders Grimsby Borough, with Reece York opening the scoring after only two minutes, before Daniel Trott hit a brace.

In the North West Counties Football League First Division North, Campion drew 1-1 at Chadderton, with Mark Ferguson's early goal for the visitors cancelled out by Jack Worrall's second half effort.

Steeton grabbed just their second win of the season, thumping Cleator Moor Celtic 3-0 thanks to a Kayle Price double and an Andy Briggs strike.
