SALTS and Route One Rovers, who have contested the top two places in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division since late January, will meet tomorrow.

Salts, who have a 10-point advantage over their hosts and have played one game fewer, know that a repeat of their 2-1 win in August will put the championship out of reach for the Premiership newcomers.

Third-placed Golcar United will have to win their four games they have in hand of Salts to keep up their bid for the top spot.

Tomorrow the Huddersfield-based side are at Littletown, Steeton and Wibsey, who are in fourth and fifth place, meet at Bankfoot Cricket Club.

Ovenden West Riding reached the final of the West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy on Wednesday night, with a 2-0 semi-final win over Silsden White Star.

Ovenden will now meet Sowerby Bridge in the final on Thursday, May 3, at The West Riding County FA at Fleet Lane.
