BRADFORD Sunday Alliance Championship outfit Crossflatts Village warmed up for this week's Senior Cup final against Westwood Park at Manningham Mills by beating Premier Division Sandy Lane in the Keighley & District Sunday FA Cup showpiece.

After losing in last year's final, they made amends to win 3-0 against Lane at Silsden.

Man of the match was Matty Morgan, who was outstanding at centre back alongside Kevin Gill at the heart of defence.

Goals in the first half came from Craig Morris and Michael Garnett before Colin Schofield cemented a fine victory with Flatts' third after the break.

Meanwhile, in the only Alliance Premier Division game, Lyceum enjoyed a convincing victory at Dam Lane, Yeadon, against Ventus United with Warren Rooney hitting two and Wayne Taylor also on the mark with a brace in a 6-0 hammering.

In Division One, Tyersal kept their hopes of a cup and league double alive with a convincing 7-0 victory at Queensbury, with man of the match Josh Finnan bagging a brace alongside a double each from Jordan Hagyard and Adam Jarrett.

However, Beldon Oddies remain favourites for the title.

In Division Two, Bradford Moor hit four at home to East Bierley Village, only for the visitors to also hit four in a thrilling clash.

Prospect Reserves and Delius drew 2-2, while Scholemoor Rovers also shared the points in a 1-1 stalemate with visitors Beldon Oddies Reserves.

The Sunday Senior Cup final this weekend is a usual 11am kick-off at Manningham Mills.
