Pudsey Congs will play Morley Phoenix in tomorrow night's floodlit final of the JCT600 Bradford League's Dyson Insulations Twenty20 Cup at Wagon Lane.
They reached the final by defeating East Bierley by 42 runs when their rain-delayed semi-final was played under the Bradford & Bingley lights last night.
The key to their success was a magnificent opening partnership of 150 between Nick Lindley and Gareth Phillips.
Left-hander Lindley smashed 75 from 48 balls, with three sixes and seven fours, while Phillips made 69 off 53 balls, including two sixes and ten fours.
Andrew Bairstow also weighed in with an unbeaten 40 from 18 balls as Congs posted an impressive 215-2 in their 20 overs.
The East Bierley bowling figures reflected the dominance of the Pudsey Congs batsmen.
Rao Anjum, who has played 60 one-day internationals for Pakistan, had 1-49 from his four overs, while former Leicester and Derbyshire all-rounder Nick Walker was plundered for 50 runs.
East Bierley knew they had to score at almost 11 an over to win the game, and the pressure told.
Wickets were lost in pursuit of quick runs but Anjum livened up proceedings for the good-sized crowd with a 34-ball innings of 68, which included five sixes and four fours.
Mushy Shah (3-22) and Lindley (2-16) were the most successful bowlers as East Bierley were dismissed for 173.
