Having spent the whole of the season hovering just above the bottom of Aire-Wharfe League Division Three, Silsden may have turned their season round in a weekend.
On Saturday they produced a gutsy display to earn a creditable draw against runaway leaders Colton, and then topped that the following day with a Waddilove Cup giant-killing.
Faced with a Calverley side that made short work of Horsforth in the previous round, and whose league form had picked up considerably before two wash-outs, Silsden started the day as underdogs.
But Majid Inayat followed up a century on Saturday with a knock of 56 and, supported by Chris Barrett (44), Lee Bilbrough (43) and Craig Thornton (36no), helped his side to 207-5.
Skipper Bilbrough (3-18) then linked up with Alex Bradbury (4-16) and skittled out the visitors for just 75, setting up a quarter-final clash with Division One high-fliers Collingham.
