Holders Salem Athletic breezed into the second round of the H Broadbent Trophy with a nine-wicket romp over Heaton.
Yassir Khan (5-16) helped knock over Heaton for 71 before Salem raced past their modest target.
The Bradford Mutual Sunday School League knockout competition also saw 2011 runners-up BPR make comfortable progress.
They rattled up 287-6 against Muff Field thanks to Aqib Shazad (101) and Tahir Abbas (89no) before dismissing their opponents for 112, of which Tanveer Hussain made 65.
Bradford Gymkhana (192) brushed aside Central YMCA, who replied with just 44 against Naveed Akram (5-9).
Allerton posted just 93 (Mark Greenwood 5-18) but that proved too much for Buttershaw St Pauls (62) as Sajid Mahmood picked up 5-20.
Another low-scoring clash saw Cambing (87 – Baddir Munir 4-10) get the better of Mayfield (48 – Adeil Mir 6-23).
And Great Horton Church dismissed Yorkshire LPS for 45 after posting 174-8 (Saim Butt 44). There were five wickets each for Nikhil Lad of LPS and Church opponent Javed Akbar.
