Home side Hawksworth were never really in the run chase, being dismissed for 197 (Anish Sehadevan 65, Dave Matthews 5-37).

Leaders Shipley Providence were toppled from their perch as Rodley became the new pace-setters, with just one point separating the first three sides.

Gary Walton made 70 as Rodley racked up 214-4 before Halifax Direct slumped to 110 all out, Simon Dickens taking 6-40.

Previous leaders Prov (96) slipped to a surprise 19-run home defeat to Hyde Park (115, Umar Saib 6-41).

The team to watch with a game in hand on the top three are form side Leeds Sikh (293-3), who notched up their seventh consecutive win as Arularassan Gopalasamy (118) and Raghu Chanrasekaran (112) hit centuries in defeating basement side Charcos New Wortley (118 all out).

Crompark’s recent run of success came to an abrupt end at Farnley Hill (251-6, Micheal Watson 85, Richard Bedford 82) where the visitors were shot out for just 68 (Gary Eckard 6-14).

The fixture between Baildon (234, Syed Hashmi 80, Adil Wahid 60) and Cookridge proved to be a close encounter, with the visitors dismissed for 203 in reply.

Apperley Bridge are the new leaders of Division B after ending previous leaders Saville Stars’ eight-match winning run. Bridge made 150 (Tahir Khan 53, Mohammed Israr 5-13) before the home side were skittled out for just 67 in response.

The McDermotts were in the runs again for Hepworth & Idle B as Dave hit an unbeaten 102 and son Kevin making 87. Steve Pedder also weighed in with 55 in a total of 301-2, which proved far too many for visitors Tong Manor (170, Paul Medley 6-41).

Table-toppers Apperley Bridge B (235-5, Hassan Zeb 84no) are threatening to run away with DIVISION C after making light work of Shipley Providence B (116).

Shaz Munir hit 104 not out for Crompark B as they beat Undercliffe by 13 runs to go top of DIVISION D.
