Mayfield had two centurions in their Bradford Mutual Sunday School League GROUP B draw with Odsal as James Batley (112) and Adam Beesley (102no) provided the bulk of the runs in an impressive 282-4 total.

Beesley also starred with the ball as he took 4-45 as Odsal hung on at 139-9, Paul Cuthberston top-scoring on 44.

Division B saw the top total of the day as Bradford Gymkhana B smashed 361-7 agianst Mandhata.

Shakeel Ahmed led the way with 89, Mohammed Data scored 60 and Anees Ahmed 53. In reply, Mandhata made 159 all out, with Zafran Hussain claiming 5-37.

Great Horton Meths are still without a win after they lost to Great Horton Church by three wickets. Alister Hall scored 40 not out in Meths’ 197-9 but 94 from Ifraz Liquat saw Church home, despite 4-78 from John Bond.

The leading pair in GROUP A, Cambing and Allerton, marched on with victories.

Furqan Ahmed scored 109 not out as Cambing made 220-9 against Yorkshire LPS, for whom Pradip Patel took 7-37.

LPS could only make 108 all out in reply as Amir Shah took 6-27.

Allerton’s Chris Brown followed up his 100 not out with an unbeaten 95 in a five-wicket success over Heaton A, who made 158 all out (Shoukat Ali 46).

Omars move up to third place after their winning draw against Hallfield, while Bradford Gymkhana are fourth after defeating BPR. Ashfaw Khan scored 71 for Gymkhana in their 147 all out as Mohammed Hani claimed 6-14 for BPR, who could only make 112 in reply.

Heaton B defeated Girlington by three wickets in a match where both sides made over 200 runs.

In GROUP C, Salem Athletic increased their lead at the top to 42 points after beating bottom club Cambing by 73 runs. Majid Hussain claimed 4-31 as Salem were all out for 128 but 6-31 from Tariq Rashid saw Cambing dismissed for just 55 in reply.

Great Horton Church didn’t fare much better as they were all out for 79 against Bowling Baptist, Shazaid Yousaf and Akhtar Mahmood bagging four wickets apiece in a four-wicket win.

West Bowling went second after defeating Girlington by six wickets. Hassan Ali took 6-36 as Girlington were dismissed for 148 before Chris Carter (76no) saw West home.

Mohammed Kashif scored 75 as Allerton made 239-6. In rpely Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths were all out for 133 as Irfan Hussain took 7-30.

In GROUP D, the top two both won again. BPR were dismissed for their lowest score of the season, making 119 against Muff Field. Dave Crossland took 4-35. In reply, Muff Field were all out for 52 as Tahir Abbas took 7-24.

Bradford Indians defeated Central YMCA in a match dominated by bowlers. Ian Davies took 7-57 for YMC as Indians made 179 all out, then Rachit Dedhia took 7-24 as YMCA were all out for 102.

Mayfield maintain their third place after defeating Yorkshire LPS by six wickets. Gary Smith did the damage with 7-22 for Mayfield as LPS were all out for 95, which Mayfield passed losing four wickets.

Dave Hutton claimed 5-16 for Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths against Buttershaw St Paul’s, who were all out for 69. Daisy lost five wickets in passing the score to move up to fifth.
