The one remaining game in the second round of the Mewies Solicitors Craven League's Wynn Cup took place at Fence.

Home side Pendle Forest were restricted to 72, thanks to the bowling of Andy Holmes (5-16) and James Hesletine (3-15).

Visitors Bradley took 20 overs to reach their target for the loss of three wickets, with Alistair Harrison top-scoring with 40no. Bradley are at Embsay in the third round.

The second round of the Cowling Cup was also completed on Sunday without any great surprises.

Long Lee II put up a good fight on their visit to Cullingworth II. Going first, Steve Webster (76) and Simon Webster (63) put together a fifth-wicket partnership of 128, which enabled the Golden View side to reach 235. George Fletcher took 4-45 and David Hall 4-46.

However, seasoned campaigners Paddy Clarke (84) and Martin Rendell (60) added 118 for the third wicket, which set up a solid six-wicket victory.

There was another high-scoring encounter at Baildon Bottom. Haworth Road posted 213-6, with Josh Crookes (36) top scoring.

Visitors Little Marsden stormed home with six overs to spare. Zulquarnain Tariq (67), in the runs for the second day running, led the way with S Hussain (40) and A Ahmed (35) completing the four-wicket win.

The innings of the round undoubtably belonged to Dale Pinkerton, who smashed 160 of Riddlesden II's 258-7 at Haworth II, who had won the toss and inserted them – bad move! In reply, the Bronte side made 172-7, with Ben Bright hitting 51.

Ben Reynard (81no and 4-53) and Mudasser Kiyani (63) were the heroes for Wilsden II in another run-laden game at home to Pendle Forest II. The Fence side replied with 199, with T Haythornthwaite making a fine 87.

Bingley Congs II had the biggest win of the day – 160 runs – at home to nine-man Foulridge II. Ben Nattress (52no) and Tony Teale (50) helped the Beckfoot Lane side to 232-5. The Noyna side replied with 72 as Matt Haggerty took 3-26.

The lowest scoring game of the day was at Sandy Lane II, where Denholme II were the opponents. I Murray scored 30 as the visitors made a modest 99. C Dunne, I Khan and Adeel all took three wickets.

The Greenwood Park side could only muster 79 in reply as M Wear (4-10) and T Priestly (3-11) did the damage.

Perhaps the match of the round was at Shires Lane, where bottom-of-the-Second Division Embsay took on second-in-the-Third-Division Oakworth II.

The Cure Hill side went first and posted 170-9, with Simon Howell (52), Steve Powell (33) and Jon Hollingsworth (23) being the main contributors.

In reply, the home side got home by eight wickets in the 35th over. Under-15 player Joe Holt set the trend with a fine 45 opening the innings.

Then Jonathan Coward (69no) and Andy Hodgson (30no), fresh from his rugby commitments, put on an undefeated 88 for the third wicket.

The draw for the third round on Sunday, June 26 is: Riddlesden II v Little Marsden, Wilsden II v Barrowford II, Cullingworth II v Bingley Congs II, Denholme II v Embsay II.
