The Hawks are raising funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research via a match on Thursday at Otley Cricket Club (6.30pm).
The nomadic friendly side are strengthened via several JCT600 Bradford League players, including Bankfoot wicketkeeper John Barton, while Otley could well be boosted by Bradford & Bingley’s Jamies Davies and Pudsey St Lawrence’s Josh Atkinson.
The charity is close to the Hawks’ hearts as one of their members, David Tricklebank, died from the disease five years ago.
With a break this week in the Wharfedale Twenty20 competition, it is hoped that the match will attract a large crowd.
