Yorkshire endured a frustrating afternoon with the ball in their LV= County Championship clash with Sussex at Hove.
They were unable to take a single wicket as their hosts added 108 runs in the session to reach tea on day one on 191-2.
Luke Wells led the way for Sussex to reach the interval on 90 not out, with Murray Goodwin unbeaten on 60.
