At the halfway point of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League season, it is as you were at the top of Group A as Cambing and Yorkshire LPS won their respective matches, leaving Cambing still with a one-point lead.

G Ali took 9-29 as LPS dismissed Bradford Gymkhana B for 154, then Dilesh scored 51 in their two-wicket win.

Cambing defeated Muff Field by nine wickets after Fazal Wazir hit 102 not out and Mohammed Bilal 88, Jamie Hepworth scoring 71 for Muff Field in their 191.

Heaton move up to third place after they defeated Bradford Gymkhana A by eight wickets, Arif Hussain claiming 5-17 as Gymkhana were dismissed for 97. Finally in this group, BPR defeated Omars by 121 runs, Mohammed Majid top-scoring for BPR with 40 in their 194-8.

In Group B, with the Mandhata v Heaton result missing, Hallfield lead the way on 49 points after they defeated Mayfield by 85 runs.

Qaiser Hameed scored 91 in Hallfield’s 205 all out, Mayfield replying with 120.

Great Horton Meths defeated Cross Roads and Daisy HIll Meths by 11 runs in a high-scoring match, despite the efforts of Chris Hartley, who took four wickets in four balls to end the Great Horton innings.

His final figures were 7-38 and then he scored 44 with the bat. Great Horton made 187, in which Anthony Moss scored 79, and Daisy were all out for 176, John Bond claiming 5-88.

Odsal Phoenix moved ahead of Buttershaw St Paul's, and out of the bottom two, after they defeated them by 110 runs.

Adam McKenny scored 47 not out in Odsal’s 152, and Paul Cuthbertson took 7-15 as Buttershaw were all out for 42.

In Group C, Bowling Baptist’s lead is now ten ponts after they defeated Mayfield by seven wickets, Andrew George scoring 54 not out in their 141-3, Mayfield making 140.

Second-placed West Bowling were held to a draw by Muff Field.

Batting first, West Bowling made 216-5, with Dominic Carter scoring 67 and Danny A’Hearne 58. In reply, Muff Field held out for the draw on 157-9, S Hamed claiming 6-54.

In the battle of the sides who use the King George V Playing Fields as their home gorund, Bradford Indians came out on top over Central YMCA.

YMCA made 151 all out, Tahit Datta taking 5-21. Indians passed the total with four wickets down, Kapil Chauhan scoring 71no.

Cambing defeated Cross Roads and Daisy Hill by six wickets. Daisy made 116, with Bilal Moghal scoring 62. Cambing passed the score with four wickets down, Colin Rice top-scoring with 54.
