Bradford Central League Division One leaders Allerton maintained their six-point after posting a monstrous 367 against basement boys Greenfield, who, still waiting for their first win, replied with 151.

The mainstay of the huge Allerton total was a third- wicket partnership of 203 between their in-form batsmen Mesum Nisar (134), who was promoted from the second team, and Dale Fawcett, who hit 85.

Apperley Bridge picked up six very useful points when they entertained close rivals Norwood Green.

The visitors had made 184 at tea (Haroon Hafiz 66no). However, this score proved insufficient as the home side's trio of Khans - Umar (52) Sajid (49) and Kurshid (46) - made light of the task to reach 187-4 to record a six-wicket win.

Thornbury (228-7) travelled to Girlington and returned with a points maximum, Abdul Halim (51 and 5-32) continuing his good form for the visitors.

In the Girlington reply, Sajed Parvez hit 108 and they appeared to be in good shape at 123-0.

However, only 53 runs were added as they collapsed to 176, leaving the visitors with a surprise 52-run win.

In the final fixture, Sajad Sabir, with an unbeaten 72, led Great Horton Church (121-3) to a seven-wicket win over visitors Salem Athletic, who had reached 120.

In Division Two, leaders Salem Athletic (242, Yasir Shezad 85, Mohammed Siraj 52, Samad Rahman 47no) carried on their merry way with a comfortable 119-run home win over Great Horton Church, who responded with just 123.

Apperley Bridge (176, Hasan Zeb 98) leap-frogged Norwood Green in the table after recording 34-run win after the home side had responded with 142.

The closest finish of the day occurred at Thornbury, where the home side had set Girlington a target of 199(Taquair Ahmed 60).

At 138-2 (Rahid Mahmood 67, Khalid Mahmood 65), the visitors were firm favourites.

However, Sherlam Alam Khan (5-62) and Mohammed Masood (4-40) had other ideas and Girlington were finally dismissed one agonising run short at 198.
