Haworth produced a stunning eight-wicket win at Oakworth to reach the semi-finals of the Wynn Cup.

The hosts made a useful 203 for six in the Craven & District League knockout competition, led by Rob Hopkinson (60) and Michael Scarborough (51).

But from 32 for two, Haworth surged to victory as the Rowell brothers Jamie (103no) and Damian (87no) shared an undefeated stand of 175.

This set up a last-four trip to Long Lee, who put poor league form behind them to win by seven wickets at Sandy Lane (163-6) thanks to Richard Ayrton’s unbeaten 62.

The other semi-final will be between Haworth Road and Bradley, who eased home by nine wickets as Craig Tempest (61no) steered his side past a modest Foulridge total of 126 (James Heseltine 5-26).

Haworth Road won by 33 runs to advance, their total of 218 (Haroon Ali 5-58) proving too tough to overcome as Embsay were restricted to 185 for nine (M Zahid 5-39).
