Holders West Bowling progressed into the semi-finals of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League H Broadbent Trophy after a narrow two-run win over Cambing CC, who were all out for 153, with Varinder Singh making 51 and S Ahmed taking five for 25 for Bowling.
They will travel to Bradford Indians in the first semi-final, who overcame Central YMCA by 39 runs. Kapil Chohan top-scored with 82 in Indians’ 200 all out.
Heaton are home to Mayfield in the other semi. Heaton defeated last year’s finalists Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths – who were bowled out for just 63, Majid Hussain (4-3) – while Mayfield saw off Muff Field by seven wickets, Gene Cullearn claiming a hat-trick in his five for 35.
