Prajapati captain Pritesh Lad led from the front against First CC, making 59 out of his side’s 207 for eight as they recorded their first win of the season in the West Riding Sunday Council League.

First CC’s Raheel Butt top-scored with a debut 57 out of 138.

Attock Sweet Centre’s season shows little improvement, although their latest find, Malik Nasir Aslam, scored 45 on his debut in a total of 128 all out.

Euro Windows’ surefooted march continues as they lost only three wickets passing Attock’s total. Mohammed Shahnawaz made a fine 74 and Ashiq Hussain took four for 10.

Ahmed Bhatti made 73 in Harhills’ 173 all out. That was enough for a hit-and-miss Manningham, as they were all out for136.

Newcomers Abaseen shocked Shaadi Cards as they made 289 for eight, with Nawazish Khan scoring 57 before he was forced to retire after being struck on his arm. Mohammed Faisal was in the runs again with 54 while Umar Khan contributed 43.

Shaadi’s Asif Papa made a face-saving 53 as they were all out for 180.
