Hameed Khan’s impressive spell for Cambing sent holders Bradford Gymkhana crashing out of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League's Sir James Roberts Cup.

Khan took six for 28 as Gymkhana were all out for 139, with Wajid Mahmood (50no) then securing a three-wicket win for Cambing.

Their semi-final opponents next month will be Heaton, who saw off Yorkshire LPS by 61 runs.

Heaton posted 189 for nine (Mohammed Naveed 48), and Mukesh Patel’s 68 proved in vain for LPS as they were dismissed for 128.

The other semi-final will be between Hallfield, who beat May-field by 72 runs, and Odsal Phoenix, who overcame Bowling Baptist by 73 runs.

Sajid Mahmood (61) and Mohammed Rizwan (5-26) starred for Hallfield, who posted 184 for four, while Paul Cuthbertson (83) led Phoenix to a daunting 200 for seven.
