Cambing leapfrogged Yorkshire LPS to head Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group A after a 65-run victory over LPS yesterday.

Anil Patel took five for 29 as Cambing were all out for 126, but five for 18 from Zaffer Iqbal helped Cambing win and take over at the top.

Bradford Gymkhana A drop to third after losing to their B team.

Gymkhana B, batting first made 206 for nine. In reply, Gymkhana A could only muster 117 all out as Dawood Khan claimed six for 51.

Into fifth move BPR, who were the day's top scorers with 317 all out, Janghir Bostan making 73 and A Mahmood 83. Muff Field replied with 71 all out, M Qadeer taking seven for 35.

Heaton are sixth after their win over Omars. A partnership of 112 between Abdul Ishfaq (103no) and Mohammed Naveed(41), plus 62 from Matloob Hussain, led to Heaton making 259 for six. Omars were then dismissed for 123 as Mohammed Shezad claimed a hat-trick in his five for 13.

In Group B, Heaton B lead the way after their eight-wicket win over Buttershaw St Paul's, Safwaaan Yusuf scoring 51 not out in Heaton B's 99 for two, replying to Buttershaw's 96 all out.

Hallfield are now second after their win over Mandhata and Great Horton Meths' two-wicket loss to Odsal Phoenix.

Mandhata set a high total of 205 for nine, with Manu Kishore toping their batting with 50 and Nasir Ahmed claiming four for 43 for Hallfield.

In reply, Hallfield passed the total with just three wickets down, Imran Masood scoring 111 and Neeloy Data 43 not out.

In Group C, West Bowling defeated Cambing by six wickets.

Cambing set a total of 151, with Pallav Dev making 57. West Bowling bettered that total with four wickets down, Joe A’Hearne making 40 not out and Chris Carter 45.

Muff Field WR defeated Central YMCA by seven wickets, Geoirge Stevenson top-scoring for YMCA with 45 of their 126 for eight, Dave Crossland claiming four for 19 for Muff.

Then Stuart Morrison hit 51 not out as Muff Field reached their target with only three wickets down.

Mayfield defeated Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths by nine wickets.

Gary Smith took five for 35 as Daisy were all out for 123, then Tony Crossley (50no) and Chris Beesley (59no) helped Mayfield home with one wicket down.
