Jacques Rudolph is closing in on a double century but the big question is when will Yorkshire declare against Durham at Headingley?
The White Rose have moved relentlessly to 530 for five from 164 overs at tea on the second day.
Andrew Gale (41) and Jonny Bairstow have both fallen in the afternoon session, Gale caught at square cover by Liam Plunkett off the medium pace of Ben Stokes and Bairstow bowled by leg-spinner Scott Borthwick.
The hosts are expected to have a blast after the break, but for how long remains to be seen.
Should Yorkshire not declare at the break, Rudolph will resume this evening unbeaten on 193 from 354 balls. He has hit 32 boundaries, and will have Adil Rashid for company.
