A half-century by Shafiq Khan set up a welcome 40-run victory for First CC against Shaadi Cards on a rain-affected day of West Riding Sunday Council action.
Khan’s 51 guided First to 162 in their 35 overs and Shaadi were then dismissed for 122.
Amir Khan (52) and Zarshad Khan (50no) helped Manningham to 175 for nine in 34 overs and this proved just enough to beat Attock Sweet Centre.
Khoram Shazad hit 56 in reply but his side were all out for 166 as Alias Khan (3-26) and Amir Khan (2-29) took their toll.
Majid Rafiq claimed a hat-trick as Harehills beat Azeems by four wickets.
Rafiq helped dismiss Azeems for 178 in 39 overs, Zulfikar Ali top-scoring with 44, but Harehills made short work of the target.
Mansha Khan’s unbeaten 54 steered AMCC to a five-wicket win against West Bowling Attock, who had been lifted to 164 by Wahid Rehman’s 40. Kamran Khan’s four for 26 proved in vain.
Euro Windows chalked up a second win of the season against newcomers Abaseen, posting a modest 147 but then restricting their opponents to 136.
