There looked to be a shock on the cards in Division One of the Craven League when Cullingworth were bowled out for 114 against Ingrow after being 79 for one.

However, the champions blasted the Hainworth side out for 66, with Dave Hall taking five for 19.

Bradley’s Matt Simpson was in the wickets again with six for 42 to go with John Duffy’s four for eight as Haworth were dismissed for 90. Chris Capstick (39no) and Sean Williamson (39) took the visitors to the points for the loss of two wickets.

Haworth Road were in trouble at nine for three and at home to Bingley Congs, Will Burgess (115no) and Mansha Khan (51) helping the score to 233 for nine.

Neil Copping blasted 88 as the Beckfoot side replied with 167.

Oakworth were in fine fettle when Cononley called. Michael Scarborough (70), Jack Hainsworth (57) and Drew Duffey (52no) saw them to 246 for six. The visitors were dismissed for 94, of which Tom Stead made 40, as Steve Filkin took four for 35 and youngster Jack Davison three for 11.

Crossflatts had the upper hand at Cowling as they won by six wickets.

The home side made 161 for eight, with Mike Dudley top-scoring with 30, as Mick Addy claimed six for 37. Bashir Khan was the star of the reply with 72 not out.

The young, Josh Robinson, and the old, Bob Bateman, were the stars of Embsay’s massive 309 for five as they pair put on 137 for the first wicket.

The former went for 76 and the latter for 110. Duncan Ward (73) and Haroon Ali (35no) continued the good work.

With three balls to go the score was 309 for two, and then Mark Pickles performed the hat-trick!

The reply stuttered along and only John Golson (63no) offered much resistance as it closed on 155. Haz Haider took six for 56.

In Division Two, newly-promoted Riddlesden hammered Ingrow St John’s at Stock-bridge.

Rishabh Jain (88), Nasar Kamal (75no) and Naveed Hussain (52) helped the hosts rattle up 282 for eight. Saints were then hustled out for 83.

Thornton benefited from dropped catches to score 264 for eight against Long Lee, with Jason Lockley blasting his way to 113 in just 50 balls.

Kevin Pollard chipped in with 58. Long Lee replied with 202, Paul Stowell making 58.
