After disposing of one promotion rival last week, Keighley bid to do the same to another when they entertain Gomersal in the JCT600 Bradford League Division Two on Saturday.
The Lawkholme Lane side laid down an early marker by beating bogey side Morley by four wickets but Richard Robinson knows a repeat success will not be easy this weekend.
He said: "I think Gomersal were probably the best side team we played last year, even though we beat them."
Their visitors have kept the nucleus of that side together and showed they mean business again with an emphatic victory over Windhill in their first game.
The highly influential Robinson is unavailable for Keighley but their young players continue to blossom. Max Davison, Paul Quinlan and new signing Liam Dyson from Oxenhope all shone against Morley.
"Those lads came through for us last week," said the all-rounder. "They are really keen and are training virtually every night. They keep the more experienced players on their toes."
Elsewhere, Greg Colehan faces his old team when Idle visit his new club Bankfoot.
The Odsal outfit will want to bounce back from a defeat to Farsley, while their opponents travel in good spirits after a gutsy win against Lightcliffe.
Another player facing a former club is Morley skipper Matt Taylor, whose team entertain a Spen Victoria outfit in buoyant mood following their success over Undercliffe.
