Craven League side Denholme have proposed a rule restricting bowlers to a maximum of 12 overs per innings.
Their rationale states: "We feel it is detrimental to the development of the game as a team sport if only two bowlers are permitted to bowl throughout an innings.
"By restricting the number of overs a bowler may bowl it will involve (and develop) more players in the game."
This rule change has been proposed and debated many times in the past but has still not been passed.
However, Denholme would be happy to see the rule introduced on a trial basis for either the top two divisions or the bottom three divisions as felt appropriate.
