He might not have been the most prolific winner at the JCT600 Bradford League annual dinner at the Cedar Court Hotel tonight but Chris Brice certainly picked up some juicy honours.

With the the Sir Learie Constantine All-Rounders' Trophy (581 runs at an average of 83.00 and 37 wickets at 15.59) and the WH Foster Jubilee Trophy for Division One batting in the bag, the Woodlands left-arm spinner and batsman for all occasions added the coveted JCT600 Players' Player of the Year award.

This was an inaugural award and Brice was selected from a shortlist of six.

Cleckheaton's Michael (Mal) Nicholson won four awards - the Gordon Bowers Young Cricketer of the Year, the F Milton Watmough Wicketkeeping Trophy for most victims in Division One (48), the Stan Longbottom Safe Hands Trophy for most stumpings in either division (14) and the David Bairstow Golden Glove Trophy for most victims in one league match (six).

Tom Pringle (Cleckheaton) was the Ernest Lodge Young Spinner of the Year and Baildon the Albert Smith Spirit of Cricket award.

Groundsman extraordinaire and long-serving administrator Rodney Heyhoe (Lightcliffe) won the Sir Leonard Hutton Trophy.
