SANDAL continue to set the pace in the All Rounder Bradford Premier League Conference - but their lead has been cut to 14 points.

They gained 19 points for their comfortable seven-wicket win over Crossbank Methodists while second-placed Great Preston bagged the maximum 20 for their 183-run victory over Rodley.

Opening bowler Sam Noden (4-44) and Lee Geldard (3-32) helped Sandal bowl out Crossbank for just 113 as only Christian Duncan (41) offered real resistance.

Matthew Westwood (39 not out) and Brandon Hewlett (36no) saw them to their target.

Great Preston dominated their match with Rodley from the moment they batted first. Dan Rannsinghe (80) and Ollie Baron (46) helped them build a score of 235.

Rodley crumbled to 52 all out in reply as Jacob Wright (3-25), Lee Russell (3-5) and Luke Kane (3-0) got to work.

Gethin Clarke (53), Liam Pearson (41) and Adam Campion (38) helped Gildersome & Farnley Hill to make 212 in their 53-run win over Heckmondwike & Carlinghow.

Syed Shah-Bukhari (5-71) proved to be the best of the Heckmondwike & Carlinghow bowlers while Umar Qureshi top scored with 50no as they were bowled out for 159, Martin Morley taking the Gildersome & Farnley Hill bowling honours with 4-28.

Fourth-placed Brighouse are seven points behind Gildersome & Farnley Hill after their 54-run win over Windhill & Daisy Hill.

Quadratullah Azizi (34) and Mohammad Altaf (33) top scored in a Brighouse total of 165 which their bowlers defended by dismissing their rivals for 111. Ritesh Tandelkar (4-24) led the way while Adam Swaine (38) top scored for Windhill.

Ryan Healey’s innings of 85 and 46 from Jonathan Garner helped Oulton to 213 in their 24-run win over East Leeds. Tom Chapman (3-46) was the pick of the bowlers for East Leeds while Jonathan Watling (46) and Daniel Lawrence (45) top scored in their side’s 189 all out. Jack Andrews picked up 4-81 for Oulton.
