THE TOP scores in the Dales Council League were in Division C with a huge 1650 runs being scored in four matches.

Drighlington were the highest scorers with Bhaven Mistry (82) and James Inglis (72) adding 144 for the third wicket in a total of 362 (Tasif Iqbal 72no, Aidan Dunne 52) at Station Road. Morley replied with 191-8 (Richard Thompson 67) to fall well short.

The highest individual score came at Sunnybank where Elangovan Balakrishnan scored an unbeaten 140 in the Shipley Providence total of 304-7 (Rajkhumar Mariappan 56) against nine-man Muff Field B, who replied with 102 (Richard Durn 55).

Leaders Interlink travelled to Sandal School and scored 236 (Ebrahim Bismillah 55). The Baildon B reply collapsed to 0-5 before being all out for 35 (Mohammed Pandor 5-13, Yasin Bismallah 4-8).

The closest finish came at Redrow Sports where Mayfield B made 209 before home side Cookridge C replied with 211-9, Matthew Fletcher scoring 138.

Division A leaders Woodhouse scored a challenging 242-9 (Intzar Mahmood 5-42) at High Royds with Zia Butt top-scoring with an unbeaten 62 before bowling out Crompark for 124 (Muhammad Faisal 5-44).

At Karmand, Cookridge were bowled out for 84 (Ansar Mehmood 4-17) by Halifax Direct, who replied with 85-2 (Mohammed Chaand 43) to go second.

Leeds Sikh drop to third after being bowled out for 57 at Mayfield Terrace with Mohammed Faisal taking 7-25 but home side Mayfield also struggled and lost seven wickets in reaching the total.

Drighlington also dropped a place when they were bowled out for 211 (Matty Waller 67, Naveed Piran 4-24) by Leeds Caribbean, whose reply of 212-6 was thanks to an unbeaten partnership of 151 from Naveed Piran (82no) and Shan Khan (76no).

At Meanwood Road Savile Stars were bowled out for 125 (Khizar Hanif 6-21) by Bradford Moor, who replied with 126-3.

The top two in Division B met at Low Springs where One Stop stumbled from 91-1 to 155-9 before closing on 194 (Ian Slattery 6-43) thanks to 44 from Sediqullah Ahmadi.

In reply leaders Muff Field lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 142 (Aniket Bhatt 5-41) in 37 overs.

At Daleside Road unbeaten Thornbury B were bowled out for 194 (Daniel Metcalfe 4-41, Tawquir Ahmed 4-69) by Baildon who, despite passing the hundred mark for the loss of only two wickets, were held to 190-6 from 46 overs by some tight bowling from the home side.

Ex-hornbury players Tawseef Ahmed (47) and Tawquir Ahmed (37) were top scorers for the away team.

At Fulneck Richard Morton scored 71 out of the Tong Park Esholt total of 146 (Ricky Priestley 4-44) before Pudsey St Lawrence replied with 147-4 (Jack Gaunt 57no).

Pudsey Congs recovered from 47-7 to finish on 150 (Kyle Fenton 4-12) at Smithy Lane. Cookridge B also looked in trouble at 38-3 but Shazad Akbar (75no) joined Mashood Akhtar (42no) to take the score to 154-3 with an unbeaten partnership of 116 and lift them out of the bottom two.

Despite 46 from Kanhu Charan Pattnayak, Adel found themselves at 66-7 but recovered to 140 (Zaib Ali 4-37) at Church Lane.

Halifax Direct B also slumped to 66-7 before (Mudassar Khan 37no) joined Aqeel Ahmed (29) to see them to victory and put the home side at the bottom of the table.
