APPERLEY Bridge have steered themselves to the top of their Bradford Mutual Sunday School Cricket League group.

They came up against Hallfield in their Group A fixture and had them bowled out for 163 off 39 overs.

Bridge were struggling to chase the target at one stage - sitting at 69-5.

But, Munir Hussain - coming in at seven - hit a quick 55 to help Bridge on their way to victory.

Bradford Moor move into second place after a comfortable win over Girlington.

Moor were all out for 142.

In reply Girlington were all out for 71 with Zafar Mahmood taking 7-17 for the hosts.

Omars move into third place after beating Yorkshire Friends.

Mohammed Waqqar Mirza scored an impressive 65 to take Omars to a 129-4 victory, with Friends all out for 127.

Elsewhere Bradford Gymkhana beat Yorkshire LPS by 42 runs, while Salem charged to a 30-run victory at Great Horton Church.

Khalil Ur Rehman was the star in that match-up, scoring 80 runs for the visitors.

In Group B, Bowling Baptist top the table after beating hosts Greenfield by three wickets.

The home side were all out for 137, with Bowling scoring 138 for seven.

It was a similar margin when Bradford Indians beat Hallfield by three wickets to take second-place.

Girlington Seconds hosted a Cambing side who only fielded eight men.

A resilient Asad Khan scored 85 of the visitor's 136 all-out score, taking three wickets for his side too.

But it wasn't enough, with Girlington scoring 138-4.

Northcliffe sealed a comfortable home victory against Great Horton Church.

The hosts scored 248-8 across 40 overs, with two players reaching over a century.

In response Church could only muster a total score of 54 before being bowled out, with Saqib Mehmood on form with six wickets.

Finally, Allerton beat Salem Seconds away by 6 wickets.

It was a low scoring affair with the hosts reaching 71 and Allerton finishing up on 74-4.

In the final group, Allerton Seconds continued the feel-good factor with a victory against Bradford Gymkhana with a similar score to their Firsts (74-5).

Bowling Baptist Seconds beat Bradford Phoenix at home by 2 wickets, with the visitors bowled out for 84.

YMCA lost out to Mandhata despite winning the toss and posting a score of 106-9 when batting first.

In response, Mandhata hit 107-3, with Navjot Singh three shy of a half century.

TABS had a comfortable win at 10-man West Bowling by a massive 10 wickets.

Bowling were bowled out for 56 and the visitors then didn't lose a wicket as they posted a score of 57.

Finally in Group C Greenfield Seconds gained a winning draw against Yorkshire LPS.

Greenfield scored 244-9 with Mazhar Iqbal scoring 44.

In reply LPS scored 115-8 as Viral Patel bagged 55 runs.

Waqas Ali impressed for Greenfield when bowling taking 4-24.
