KEIGHLEY continue to grow their ranks ahead of the 2019 season with the signing of exciting young prospect Tom Mawer from Oxenhope.
The 19-year-old has been a Oxenhope first-team regular for the last two years and is both an opening batsman and leg spinner. He knows the Keighley set-up well having played his junior cricket down at Lawkholme for many years and was also part of last season’s victorious Under-19s' T20 county cup team. He is also the brother of Max Davidson, the first team vice-captain.
Tom is excited about this new chapter in his cricketing career; he has won several junior championship titles and cups with the Lawkholme Laners as well as playing representative cricket for the Bradford League, Bradford Schools, West Yorkshire Schools and Yorkshire Schools.
Tom will fit in well within the Keighley structure that is looking to nurture young talent through its ever-expanding junior set up and onwards into its three senior teams to play at the highest level of cricket in the local area.
