THE all-time leading runscorer is set to return to the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League in 2019.

Richard Robinson has joined Championship Two outfit Yeadon and will be looking to build on his record tally of 17,471 runs.

The left-hand batsman, who last played in the league in 2014 with Keighley, has also turned out for Baildon and Brighouse.

He will balance playing with his commitments as groundsman at Weetwood, where the Yorkshire Academy play.

Richard is one of three new players called Robinson signed by Yeadon, as they bid to make an immediate return to Championship One.

Ryan Robinson has been recruited from last season’s Conference runners up Adwalton to captain the side, while bowler Alex Robinson has joined Yeadon from Scholes.

Another key addition is spin-bowling all-rounder Gareth Lee. He will be bidding for a third-successive promotion, having helped Scholes win the Championship One title in 2017 before being part of Adwalton side that was second in the Conference in 2018.

In other transfer news, Farsley have brought in Otley wicketkeeper Paul Nicholson to bolster their ranks for the 2019 campaign.
