RAIN wiped out every match in the penultimate round of Bradford Mutual Sunday School League fixtures.

This leaves the final week with plenty to play for in all divisions, with Girlington requiring 15 points against Bradford Gymkhana – who need two points to guarantee safety – to seal the Group A title.

Second-placed Omars require a victory against Salem Athletic and need Gymkhana to beat Girlington if they are to finish top, while Salem must also win their game and are relying on Apperley Bridge to beat Hallfield if they are to remain in the top section.

Hallfield need to take 11 points off Apperley Bridge to be certain of staying up, while Interlink require 11 against relegated VVS Laxman to remain fourth. Great Horton Church must beat third-placed Bradford Moor to finish fifth.

Parkside need 18 points from their game against leaders Great Horton Church B, who are already champions of Group B, to go up – and second-placed Yorkshire LPS require 15 against Salem to secure their own promotion.

Allerton need a victory against Cross Roads and Daisy Hill and for Parkside or Yorkshire LPS to lose in order to sneak into a promotion place.

Girlington B require a win against Bradford Gymkhana and also Salem A or Gymkhana A to come down from Group A to avoid the drop, as the respective B teams of either Salem or Gymkhana would face automatic relegation to Group C.

Bowling Baptist need to beat Cambing A and are relying on Girlington to suffer a heavy defeat against Gymkhana to have any chance of surviving.

Yorkshire Friends need to beat Great Horton Meths to be certain of topping Group C, while Meths need a minimum of ten points to avoid the drop.

Second-placed Greenfield must defeat Hallfield and need Friends to lose if they want to finish as champions. Hallfield need a win to guarantee third place.

West Bowling must beat Mandhata and need Bowling Baptist and Meths to lose so they can avoid the drop.

Bowling Baptist have to beat Cambing and also require their A team to stay up in Group B, otherwise they could face automatic relegation.

Mayfield need to beat Yorkshire LPS B, who are already relegated, to have a chance of finishing third in the group.

Greenfield and Bradford Indians have already secured promotion from Group D and Greenfield now need a win against third-placed Bradford Indians to finish top.

Mayfield are six points behind Greenfield and must beat Allerton B and also hope Indians overcome Greenfield so that they can win the group for the second year running.
